Burgundy Stew

1 1/2 pound stew meat
1 package Lipton onion soup mix (optional)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup red burgundy wine
1 jar button mushrooms

Place meat in casserole dish. Add other ingredients. Cover and bake 250-325 degrees for 3 hours. Or use slow cooker 6-8 hours.
