Toffee (saltines)


50 saltine crackers
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
12 oz chocolate chips
Chopped nuts (optional)

Line large pan with foil, then spray with cooking spray.
Lay crackers evenly over foil.
Melt butter and add sugar, stir until it boils.
Pour over crackers.

Bake 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees until slightly browned.

Pour chips and nuts on top. Return to oven for 2 more minutes.

Cool in refrigerator. Break into bite size pieces.
Store in sealed container.
