Pineapple Up Side Down Cake


3 tablespoons margarine
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 large can pineapple rings or crushed pineapple, drained
1 1/2 cup Bisquick
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons shortening or margarine
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

In an 8x8 square or round pan, melt margarine. Sprinkle evenly with brown sugar. Arrange pineapple in pan. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl. Pour into pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Invert onto serving plate, letting pan drain over cake for a few minutes.
