Pecan Pie


1 unbaked 9” pie crust
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon flour
1 cup white Karo syrup (or 1 cup sugar + 1/4 cup water)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup melted butter
1 cup halved pecans

Mix together sugar, salt and flour so mixture won’t be lumpy. Add to eggs. Add syrup, vanilla and butter. Put pecans in bottom of pie crust. Pour mixture over pecans and bake 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
