Melting Moments


1 cup butter or margarine, softened (2 sticks)
1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
1 1/4 cups unsifted all purpose flour
3/4 cup cornstarch

In large mixer bowl with electric mixer at medium speed, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in flour and cornstarch until well mixed. Wrap and refrigerate dough at least 2 hours.

Drop dough from teaspoon to make very small balls. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-12 minutes.

Cookies are very fragile when they are warm. Cool on tray or bake on parchment paper and slide it off the cookie tray too cool. -
